Ethereum (ETH)

Ethereum was founded in 2014 by the Ethereum Foundation, a Swiss non-profit. Vitalik Buterin is considered as the person who envisioned it, and is credited as a co-founder of Ethereum. The Ethereum network is a decentralized network with a global infrastructure that is supported by blockchain technology, which allows its users to deploy applications and smart contracts on top of the platform. Ethereum aims to make digital money more programmable. Ethereum uses its native currency, known as Ether (ETH), as payment for smart contracts and transaction fees on the network. One of Ethereum's major features is the ability to mint tokens on the platform, and use them for any desired purpose.
