NEM (XEM)

NEM was launched in March 2015 as a blockchain technology which contains a consensus mechanism and Supernode program that ensures the successful scale of the blockchain without compromising speed or stability. The blockchain features proof of importance algorithm, encrypted messaging, multi-signature accounts, and an Eigentrust++ node reputation system. With NEM’s Smart Asset System, users can customize the way they want to use the technology via Namespaces and Mosaics. Smart Assets can represent a coin, a signature, or any other thing of value.
