Lightstreams Score Analysis

Lightstreams Network is constructing a peer to peer network that brings digital content monetization to the blockchain - a growing niche with various competitors. Whilst Lightstreams did look at competing blockchains, they did not examine competitors in the market. The team is experienced - the CEO is moderately experienced and the development team is experienced. There is a business development lead, but there is no CTO. This could impact the product’s realizability; the company states release of the beta launch in Q3 2018, with Lightstreams 1.0 release in 2019. The Pr and Marketing team member is moderately experienced, with social media efforts being average and response from the crypto community being low. We did not find a huge number of red flags with this particular ICO.

Lightstreams Use of Token

PHT is Lightstream's native token. PHT is an Ethereum based ERC20 token. 165 million PHT tokens will be offered for sale via the ICO, which correspond to 55% of the total token supply. PHT is needed to execute high speed transactions on Lightstream's network. PHT tokens are also needed to use the platform's file sharing protocol which relies on Permissioned Blocks.
