Russian cryptocurrency startup, Comino, has come up with a high-tech yet simple contraption to enable people to enter the cryptocurrency market while keeping them warm and cozy. The startup has built a room heater that can not only keep a room warm, but also mine various cryptocurrencies in the process.

The room heater comes with a liquid cooling system and has ability to run various hashing algorithms, which makes it perfect for mining Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies. The room heater also acts as a mining rig, and carries eight high-end ASUS P106-100 6G graphic processors, which are fitted efficiently into the slim metallic body of the heater.

There are two main variations of the heater, each is optimized for a specific cryptocurrency, either Ethereum or Zcash. The co-founders of the intuitive heater, Evgeny Vlasov and Alexey Chistov, believe that at the current level of exchange value of Ethereum, the heater can earn the investor around $300 per month. However, the rate of earning is also dependent on the local energy charges.

The co-founders state that the heaters will be able to keep a 25-30 square meter room sufficiently warm while stacking up coins in the process. The heaters cost around $5,000 at the moment but interested people can get it for $4,500 right now with a discount.

Building a mining rig oneself may cost considerably less when compared to Comino, but the founders of Comino believe that their product is much more resilient and efficient as compared to something built by amateurs. Comino contains a patented liquid cooling system and makes less noise while keeping you warm in winters.

Spending $5,000 on a fancy heater may seem like an unwise investment to many, but if you live in the desolated, cold regions of Russia, buying a heater that makes money while keeping the room cozy may not seem ingenious.
