Cointelligence Fund and On Yavin File Complaint Against Baller Entertainment and Boinkers Founders

Cointelligence Fund and On Yavin File Complaint Against Baller Entertainment and Boinkers Founders, Jonathan Weinberger (Yehonatan Weinberg Asher), Or Perets, and Omer Leshem, Alleging Breach of Agreement Over $1 Million Early-Stage Investment.

NEW YORK, NY – 07.21.26 – Cointelligence Fund LP and On Yavin (the “Plaintiffs”) filed a Complaint in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Case No. 1:2025-cv-04472). The legal action is brought against Baller Entertainment LTD, Astronomica, Inc., and its co-founders Jonathan Weinberg (Yehonatan Weinberg Asher), Or Perets, and Omer Leshem (collectively, the “Defendants”).

The dispute arises from early investments made into the founders’ initial gaming ventures. According to the court filing, On Yavin, Cointelligence Fund, and other investor partners collectively provided approximately $1 million in funding and strategic resources to support the development of a novel blockchain gaming project called Beast League.

The Complaint alleges that this capital and support were provided under explicit guarantees that the investor group would hold equity and token rights in the company’s future projects. The Plaintiffs assert that despite fulfilling their end of the agreement by delivering significant funding and strategic guidance, Defendants Jonathan Weinberg, Or Perets, and Omer Leshem have failed to honor these contractual obligations, effectively excluding the early backers from the promised stake in subsequent ventures.

The Defendants have leveraged the disputed intellectual property to attract significant capital from major venture firms, securing an $8 million fundraising round for ACID Labs in early 2025 according to Gamesbeat. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), the firm founded by Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz. This investment was executed through the firm’s dedicated Games and Speedrun vehicles, under the executive oversight of a16z Crypto Founder Chris Dixon and General Partner Andrew Chen, with direct deal leadership from Partners Jonathan Lai, Joshua Lu, Troy Kirwin, and Robin Guo.

Co-leading the round was NFX, a firm led by Founders James Currier, Pete Flint, and Gigi Levy-Weiss, with specific support from Crypto General Partner Morgan Beller. Additional capital was provided by Fusion VC, led by Managing Partners Guy Katsovich and Yair Vardi. This institutional backing—secured based on the viral success of Boinkers—validates the Plaintiffs’ assertion that the roadmap and technology they originally funded have generated immense enterprise value, from which they have been wrongfully excluded.

Companies and Entities Involved. The legal action targets a network of entities associated with the Defendants. In addition to Baller Entertainment LTD and Astronomica, Inc., the dispute centers on the founders’ subsequent ventures which the Plaintiffs allege utilized their initial capital and resources. This includes ACID Labs, the developer behind the viral Telegram game Boinkers, which recently secured substantial venture capital funding.

“We supported these founders at the very beginning with capital and resources from our fund and our partners, based on clear promises regarding our rights in their future roadmap,” said On Yavin, Managing Partner of Cointelligence Fund. “This filing is necessary to ensure that those original agreements are upheld and that our investor partners receive the equity and token rights they are legally owed, and that the credibility and integrity of cryptocurrency and the digital-asset market is preserved.”

The Plaintiffs seek damages and the enforcement of their rights as set forth in the parties’ agreements.
