Charlie Lee, the developer behind litecoin, has given away and sold all his litecoin to avoid a conflict of interest.
The mind behind Litecoin, Charlie Lee, took to social media platforms, Twitter, and Reddit to he announce that he has completely purged himself of all his litecoin holdings after selling and donating them.

In his post, Lee explained that selling his litecoin holdings will enable him to separate his own interest and opinions from the cryptocurrency’s performance. Despite this selling, Lee reassured litecoin enthusiasts that he has no intention of abandoning litecoin. As his personal finances are stable enough, Lee stated that he has the leisure of fully committing himself to litecoin, and expressed his hope that this devotion will lead to a satisfaction beyond price growth.

After his initial Reddit post, Lee later edited the post to add that his sell-off was not responsible for the Bitcoin Cash trading errors experienced earlier on the Coinbase GDAX platform.

Like most of its contemporaries, litecoin has peaked at all-time highs in the last few weeks. Currently, litecoin is trading at around $312, which shows a price depreciation from yesterday’s trading price at around $371. However, in the last month alone, the litecoin price skyrocketed with an increase of almost 300%.
