Bitlish Exchange Review

Centralized

Bitlish Overview

  • Launched in the United Kingdom, a country that boasts the most amount of cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, Bitlish prides itself on its secure, fast and reliable functions. The platform advertises its certain features, such as having low or zero fees and user security and support as a reason why users should prefer it over other platforms. An exchange review on the platform reveals that the exchange is also “a data provider for a subsidiary company to Intercontinental Exchange that distributes rates and trades data globally through major services like TradingView.” It is also mentioned that the exchange is in the middle of plans to launch a cryptocurrency debit card, which will “allow users to spend the cryptocurrencies on every item they can buy from a merchant that accepts VISA cards”. This suggests that Bitlish is quite innovative and user-friendly.
Though the platform claims to have low or zero fees, it’s trading fees average around 0.30%, which is slightly higher than the global industry average of 0.25%, though it does have a withdrawal fee that is much lower than the global industry average at 0.0001 BTC. The exchange accepts deposits through both credit cards and bank transfers and supports fiat-crypto trading, which makes it practical for new cryptocurrency investors to use. When Bitlish’s security score was calculated, it received a result that was much higher than the industry average, which is surprisingly quite low. Bitlish achieves this level of security through its two-factor authentication system, and users need to provide a scan of their ID and utility bill in order to make fiat deposits. The platform provides users who sign up with a crypto wallet for personal and commercial use and signing up to the platform is quite easy.
Bitlish’s website suggests that you can start trading in five minutes, which makes it look very user-friendly and easy to use. Though it doesn’t necessarily cater to local users only, the only interface language that Bitlish supports is English, which leaves the non-English speaking users around the world clueless as to how to use the platform. The exchange also does not cater to residents of the USA, North Korea, Taiwan, Iran, Iraq, Congo, Egypt, and others. There also isn’t a mobile app of the platform, unlike many other exchanges, which puts a limit as to how practical the platform actually is.

                                • Although registered in the UK, this exchange is aimed at Russian users, as it supports Russian RUB among the other USD and EUR fiats. The team behind is mostly russian and the CEO does not appear to be public. The website is average, along with the trading fees, and supports a variety of payment methods including purchasing crpyto using VISA and Mastercard, although the withdrawal and deposit fees for these payment methods are quite high. The support section is well made and helpful, and the team responded quickly when emailed.
