                                  Last edit 08.05.2020

                                  • GetBTC is a relatively new exchange aimed at Russian audiences and based on an island in the Carribean (St. Vincent and the Grenadines). Overall, the website design is average, and the exchange offers competitive fees, at just 0.2%.

GetBTC does not directly support any fiat currency directly and requires the user to first open an account with Crypto Capital, and then bind the account number to the exchange in order to make fiat deposits/withdrawals. Also, despite having some articles in English there are entire sections of the website only available in Russian, including the form for opening a support ticket to which we never got a reply. So, unless you speak Russian - most of the exchange functionality is practically not available. Adding insult to injury, when tried to contact the support team via the form in Russian the system automatically opened a new account with the email entered in the form.

Tracking the team behind the exchange also has been quite unsuccessful, with only a handful of names of ICO Managers and CEO Valter Bardhi being public, all with no traceable experience. Overall quite a risky exchange to trade on, given the remote location of where the exchange is based, the unhelpful nature of the support section and the anonymity of the team behind.

The only pro of trading on GetBTC remains the quite low trading fee of just 0.2%.
